Howndawg gives Obama the credit for the stock market and gas prices, but he seems scarce now that the dow dropped below 17K.

And this has more to do with China than anything, the current drop. But I know you econ wiz's are up on that, and just stubbornly refuse to give Obama credit for anything (like Z's lame comment about Bin Laden's death).

Wait, we're still droning the hell out of everybody, still have a presence in Afghanistan, did the hokey pokey by stepping out of Iraq and back in. I think that's still at least billions being spent if not more. Oh, and more US casualties in Afghanistan since 2008 vs. the prior administration.

I've NEVER given him credit for this...It's densedawg that's sucked his dick on the stock market for 8 years. Of course it's China. Just like the increase was China when their economy was humming along at a 7-8% GDP for years.

I nibbled a little today (MDXG). I think we will have another rough day tomorrow. China has turned off the circuit breakers and they, supposedly, will let the market do what it wants to do. It's probably the correct move but it could be a really bad day for the Chinks. I will be doing a little more shopping tomorrow.
