-70% think the Confederate flag should still be flying over the State Capital, to only 20% who agree with it being taken down. In fact 38% of Trump voters say they wish the South had won the Civil War to only 24% glad the North won and 38% who aren't sure. Overall just 36% of Republican primary voters in the state are glad the North emerged victorious to 30% for the South, but Trump's the only one whose supporters actually wish the South had won.
-By an 80/9 spread, Trump voters support his proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States. In fact 31% would support a ban on homosexuals entering the United States as well, something no more than 17% of anyone else's voters think is a good idea. There's also 62/23 support among Trump voters for creating a national database of Muslims and 40/36 support for shutting down all the mosques in the United States, something no one else's voters back. Only 44% of Trump voters think the practice of Islam should even be legal at all in the United States, to 33% who think it should be illegal. To put all the views toward Muslims in context though, 32% of Trump voters continue to believe the policy of Japanese internment during World War II was a good one, compared to only 33% who oppose it and 35% who have no opinion one way or another.

Palmetto State Polling
For someone who has been accused of leaning left, Trump is not only leading, but he appears to be out-conking the conks on many important issues.

Speaking of polls:
100% of Bernie's supporters say that the world owes them something
100% of Hillary's supporters believe that if you are in the majority and a Democrat, you should be able to force your views on others that don't think the same way, except that if you are in the minority and a Democrat, then your rights as a minority should be protected
A majority of Hillary supporters are for gun control, and cite statistics that point out the harm guns do to children and minorities, yet they also support sending billions of dollars worth of weapons to third world countries where they will be used to kill children and minorities
More polling data coming soon...

These signatures have a 500 character limit?

WOW! 897 likely Republican voters polled!!! Over 600,000 Republicans voted in the last Presidential Primary. I understand sampling size and stats but, c'mon. That's .0014%.
I'll say this, I've noticed a lot of support for Bernie Sanders (being in Charleston, which usually goes Democratic).

I'd like the see the same reponses for voters supporting all the other candidates on each of those questions. I'm sure the numbers are embarrassingly higher than 0% for many of those questions.Ibanez wrote:Those numbers, while funny and intriguing, are kind of pointless if you don't give the sampling size.kalm wrote:For someone who has been accused of leaning left, Trump is not only leading, but he appears to be out-conking the conks on many important issues.![]()

And 10% of Republicans feel entitled to extract wealth from the economy...for free.
90% of Republicans hope they can too someday.

BTW, it's always smart to be skeptical of polling including this one.
That being said and FWIW...

If a third party Prez candidate can't gain traction this election year, it will NEVER happen. Book it, Klam. Is Gary Johnson out there raising money?

That's a completely appropriate number of people to sample.
The margin of error is 3.3%.
They could have sampled more people and gotten a lower margin of error... but, 3.3% is pretty normal.
