This is a gaffe that could really come back to bite him.
With weeks to go before the important New York primary on April 19th, Ohio Gov. John Kasich came to the state looking for votes and a little something to eat.
Good move: He had pizza. Bad move: He ate it with a fork.
The unforgivable food faux pas -- liable to send New Yorkers into a tizzy -- occurred at Gino's Pizzeria in Howard Beach, Queens, during a campaign stop Wednesday night. In video of the incident, Kasich can be seen eagerly digging into what looks like a pepperoni pizza -- utensil first.

He's from Ohio, give him a break.
But you're right, he's screwed now.

Eh, I don't see the big deal and I'm from the northeast. All depends on the consistency of the cheese and the thickness of the crust - if it was super hot right out of the oven and the crust was really thin, sometimes using the fork is preferable, even in New York. Should only be for the first piece of the pie, after that using a fork is justifiably mocked.

Cool. I knew there was something I liked about him.
Note to self...if ever in New York eat pizza with fork taking small bites. And if anyone says something complain the renowned pizza is too greasy and not as good as the pizza on the kid's menu at Cracker Barrel.

If anything people complained about him going to a tourist trap like Pat's or Geno's for his cheesesteak. That's worth complaining over.

This.

A big mistake that is often made is that too much cheese is put on the pizza. This makes it difficult to fold and shove in your mouth Especially when it is piping hot. In this case, it is acceptable to use a fork for the first third of the slice. Any more than that, it's time to get a northeast education.

You have completely bumgrammarized that and, in addition, also added the department of redundancy department to it.
The only part you got correct was the, "Philly" part.
