Cruz isn't polling well in the 4/26 primaries either. In fact he trails Kasich in New Jersey, Penn, and Maryland.
His only redeeming quality is that he might have been able to overcome Trump's delegate lead but that possibility is going away.

Stick a fork in Cruz.

Look at the maps, Trump won every single county except for 1.

Sanders won a vast majority of the counties, and some by great margins. Unfortunately, those counties didn't have large populations.

I wouldn't vote for Lafferty under any circumstances -- very mannish. I'll probably cast my lot with Delaware's Round Mound of Rebound, Colin Bonini.

Colin was my congressperson (have to keep SH happy) when I still lived in the house I own (Camden).

Sanders can win places where there are lots of whites. He can't win with minorities at all. Just no hot sauce. He was done before this, all this is is just confirmation of what we already knew.

Agreed. Cruz has been a non-entity except in the deep South and in pockets of uber-committed tea party folks, which is a small minority, but controlling minority, in the GOP. The GOP can follow that strategy to great success in individual races around the country (hence their dominance in everything but the Presidency) but it's not a recipe for success in a nation-wide personality contest that is the Presidency. Cruz simply isn't electable in a Presidential race.

Actually, Trump swept the SEC states (AL, AR, GA, TN, KY, LA, MS).

He (Cruz) tends to win flyover states and places where they hold elections without actual voters deciding.

Probably. Getting blacks to vote for old Jews was an uphill battle from the start. But Bernie did win Michigan and was a virtual tie in Illinios, Mass, and Missouri.
