New Indiana poll says Trump trumps Chump 53% to 42% head-to-head without Kasich.

Yes I was already concerned about that last poll before I saw that breakdown because it's the latest one to come out and estimates Trump's lead at 15. Right now the RealClearPolitics average has Trump at +4.1 but the last two have him at +9 and +15. It almost makes me think Bobby Knight had an effect and if that is true that's really sad because there is absolutely no reason to think Bobby Knight has any particular credibility in this area.

Trump's low point was that week where his campaign manager was falsely accused of battery and one of his rallies got cancelled by the George Soros-paid demonstrators.

It's been all up since then, as people realize there is a media and Republican establishment smear campaign in progress.

He's going to keep going up, up, up as he continues to show his resilience against all the attacks from every angle. People like a spunky survivor.

Most polls have Cruz, the anointed one, being smited by his Lord and losing Indiana.

Ironic that Hillary had "Eye of the Tiger" as her walk up song at her rally in Philly last week. Sounds more representative of Trump to me

I hope the protestors keep demonstrating/rioting at Trump rallies while waving Mexican flags. Pisses people off and will turn them out to vote for Trump even if they don't like him. Trump isn't my guy but I'll take him over the evil witch.

Of course, Rasmussen had Romney beating Obama 49-48 right before the election. And had Obama losing states he won.

And the other thing to remember - national polls mean little in the President race - it is state by state that counts.

I will say though, with Christie as veep and Trump being from NY, if NJ and NY came into play, it's all over for Hildacunt.

I don't think a stategist would care about other areas of the country. If you steal any blue from the MidAtlantic you are way ahead of the game. We're the only part that really matters anyway.

Yes on FL & OH. Not really on PA. PA has gone democrat in the last 6 elections.

270 needed to win electoral college. Last 4 elections 00' closest conk win (W over Gore 271-266), 12' closest donk win (Obama over Romney 332-206).

The following states that went red in 00' were blue in 12' (with # of electoral college votes):
VA: 13
FL: 27 in 00'/29 in 12'
OH: 21 in 00'/18 in 12'
NH: 4
CO: 9
NV: 5 in 00'/6 in 12'

To win Trump would need to turn back red FL, OH, VA, and 1 of those other 3. And if FL, OH and VA went back red, CO and NV likely would also (same as 08')

VA, FL and OH all have a better chance of going back red (remember all were red as recently as 04') before PA (hasn't been red since 88')

The election if close enough to come down to 3 states, most likely 3 will be to FL, OH and VA.

No reasonable, thinking person could vote for Trump to be President of the United States. It's not being petulant. It's not taking a ball and going home.

It's the old problem of having to choose the lesser of two evils. And in this case Hillary is the lesser of two evils.

It's not my fault that Republican primary voters are going to put forth a candidate that no reasonable, thinking person can vote for.

And, look, I took that position very early on. As I've written here in various threads, I told my wife very early on during the campaign after watching Trump's behavior during debates that there is no way I could vote for that guy because he acts like a friggin' middle school kid. I said he's got nothing in terms of anything meaningful. He just insults and does ad hominem stuff. That was before I really though he was going to end up as the nominee.

And nothing has changed. You are NUTS if you would vote to allow that guy to be President of the United States. And you frankly ought to be ashamed of yourself.
