State Senate President Pro tem Kevin de Leon, D-Los Angeles, as his gun control bill SB1235 is approved by the Senate, Thursday in Sacramento. The bill, which deals with sale of ammunition, now goes to the Assembly.

Democrats never deal in facts when discussing guns.

The fastest gun in the world is the M134 minigun that our military mounts to helicopters and such. It has six barrels and is driven by an electric motor. At max cycle, it can fire at a rate of 6,000 rounds per minute.

So, 1,000 rounds for each barrel per minute, or 8.33 rounds each half second per barrel.

This idiot is claiming that gun can fire almost four times the rate of the fastest electrically driven modern military gatling-style gun pod.
