This just brings me again to the thing about how we perceive science as having seen stuff it hasn't seen. When you hear about the observation of planets around other star systems, for example, that does not necessarily mean planets have actually been observed. Instead, they are looking at shifts in light patterns and assuming those shifts mean that planets are there.

Sometimes you can tell that something is there/occurred not based on seeing it but because of it's influence. Not just in space but in your every day life.

I was in NM for a week couple of weeks ago.. Visted Roswell among other places. The UFO museum there is pretty cool..

I'll bite. I don't have cable so I don't really get to watch the mainstream media often, but at least reading the news online, I've yet to come across anything recent about an alien invasion...anywhere...ever.
