The FBI's failure here is epic and should be a HUGE wake-up call to American citizens

1) You are completely on your own
2) This guy wasn't serious enough to get red flagged
3) Any questions see No. 1

Anecdotal, but I know three people...one FBI, one NSA, and one Secret Service...and they are some of the most fucked-up power hungry and borderline neurotic people I know. One of them (NSA guy) recently bought a house and literally had a melt-down in front of all his guests when he saw a small scratch on his new floor. Sometimes it terrifies me who's working at these agencies, but I also know my views are limited to the people I've met and that these agencies have done genuinely good work.

I think I've mentioned this before, but my sister's first job out of college was the CIA, which quit three months later. Basically she became uncomfortable at work cause all they'd do was hit on her and even though she brought it up to her supervisor, she said it was basically a good ol' boys network of ex-military guys and they did nothing to help her.

My next door neighbor growing up was actually CIA, but he was cool. Threw down celebrations for Elvis's birthday, but that was really the only weird thing about him.

I saw the gay muslim's ex-wife on TV tonight say that she knew he was going to do something like this some day and begged him not to.

She sucks at life.

This is on him not her.......its total bullshit and the FBI is looking for a scapegoat.

Current wife or ex wife? I saw the interview with the ex a couple of days ago, and she didn't mention knowledge of this. In fact she said he didn't seem religious, just beat the hell out of her regularly. She may have been interviewed again though.

Nope, you nailed it. There won't even be official discussions about this in Washington. That's why I'm relenting and arming myself.

I agree with the majority of Americans that the way things work is ass backwards, but if it ain't going to change then you have to make changes yourself.

Oh & should we trust the same FBI agents who checked this guy out to "vet" migrants from the Middle East who want to come here as refugees?? Yea that's a disaster waiting to happen.

I like you Cluck but why is everyone so content on blaming EVERYONE and EVERYTHING other than the guy that did this act of war against our country?
