So my Dad won a Browning Citori 725 Over & Under shotgun in a raffle sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. They have requested a picture so they can put it on their website.

He asked where he should take it and what would look best.............................

I told him I would ask you guys for options and he called me a loser and asked when I was going to grow up.

Lets hear it

Would staging a "shotgun gay wedding" be bad timing?

The RMEF sounds a lot like the National Wild Turkey Foundation is around these parts. My dad goes to their dinner raffles all the time and seems to win a shotgun every three years or so on average. We just throw another one in the case each time. His shotgun collection is absolutely ridonculous.

I dunno but you reminded me that the ONE thing I want when my Mom passes away is my Dad's Stevens Model 311 double barrel shotgun. I'm not even a big gun guy but my Dad bought it during the 1960s and to me it is just such a cool looking gun. My Dad died back in 2008. My Mom is terminally ill now. I've let my 5 siblings know that I don't care if I get ANYTHING else but I want that shotgun. At my Mom's house now so took a couple of pictures. To me I can't even take pictures that do justice to how cool this gun looks. BTW my Dad used this as a home defense weapon. He never had occassion to use it for that but I can remember when we heard stuff or thought someone was messing around at night he'd get up and grab that double barrel shotgun, load it with buckshot, and go investigate. BTW my Dad was quite a marksman too. This was a shotgun but if he shot at something with a rifle he was going to hit it. I'm assuming if he'd ever had to use that shotgun for home defense he'd have hit what he was shooting at.

That's a pair of cargo shorts and a t shirt; though I guess a t shirt counts as underwear.

Maybe put a Chick-O-Stick down the barrel and take some video or pics of you waving and pointing the gun at him in a keep away effort as he tries to bite the candy.

If it's done right I think it could be very artful. :thumb:

That is interesting because I actually looked up "bummer" on the interwebs, didn't see any reference to the "slang" so I assumed he meant "hummer" because this Eastern Washington douche bag is so erudite that I thought that maybe it was a spelling mistake.

You'd like the shotgun I'm talking about if you saw it...held it. You would not be able to help it. It is SO cool.
