Yes, it's a way for the winners to say "yes, we heard you, see, here's proof". And then, once in office, no one will ever remember what was or wasn't on the party platform.

I'm not getting where you're going with that one. All other things aside, I haven't seen anything to make me think Clinton is mentally ill. I've seen plenty to make me think that's the case with Trump.
