Texas’ maternal death rates now tops most industrialized countries...
If only there was some organization to help young mothers

100 years ago this will be what we will be pilloried for by our descendants - much like the way we excoriate our own ancestors for things like slavery

There's a population crisis coming and we should probably stop worrying about every mortality rate that is elevated by fractions of percentage points

We do way too little dying these days

I'm sure big, sparsely-populated, conservative states like Alaska and Kansas have a Planned Parenthood on every street corner. These data are dated, but you get the idea.
