Extremely long read about a tranny and a lesbo that go around trying to ruin men's lives with false paternity claims and other forms of extortion because "they hate the patriarchy".
Article tells the story about how a Harvard Law prof let them walk all over him because he was too afraid of being seen as a bigot to stick up for himself. They were even able to make him and his family homeless for a few weeks and get him suspended by the Harvard Title IX office.
Do you know how cheap it is to get some crazy Mick from Dorchester to disappear somebody? You probably have enough in your wallet right now. Nobody with access to Dorchester should ever get steamrolled

Guardian article about a study about political polarization.
The study asks Republican participants to estimate what percentage of Democrats believe certain things and vice versa. Democrats with no high school diplomas were much better at guessing than the most educated Demcorats, with Republicans there was no education effect.

Re: Miscellaneous news items that don't warrant their own thread
The mystery remains: Is Trump really as stupid and/or ignorant as he appears to be when he opens his mouth or issues a tweet or is it just that he doesn't care that he comes off as stupid and/or ignorant because he thinks he's going to misinform the people he needs to keep submerged in his bullshit?
So here we go again:
The last Fox News poll prior to the 2016 election included the point estimate that Clinton would win the popular vote by 4 percentage points. She won the popular vote by 2.1 percentage points. The margin of error for difference between the candidates was about 5 percentage points. The means the estimate was that there was 95 percent confidence that the outcome would be somewhere in the range Trump by 1 through Clinton by 9. Clinton by 2.1 is well within that 95% confidence range.
The poll estimates were very consistent with what happened. Trump may not be sophisticated enough to understand the details. But if he's got a brain beyond the level of a cypress knee he should understand that the poll indicated he would likely lose the popular vote and he did lose the popular vote.

- 200 violations where 20,000 people live. That's 1 per 100 residents. Hell, my house probably has a 1 per 1 violation rate right now.
- No mention of the type of violations.
- No mention of the number of resident complaints.
- No mention of the timeline of the "threats"/repairs other than the repairs occurred after the threats.
