As long as people or entities keep apologizing to placate the busybody scolds who complain about this kind of thing, it will continue to happen

Supreme Court rejects Trump plea to enforce asylum ban

A divided Supreme Court won’t let the Trump administration begin enforcing a ban on asylum for any immigrants who illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined his four more liberal colleagues Friday in ruling against the administration in the very case in which President Donald Trump had derided the “Obama judge” who first blocked the asylum policy.

New Justice Brett Kavanaugh and three other conservative justices sided with the administration.

There were no opinions explaining either side’s votes.

The court’s order leaves in place lower court rulings that blocked Trump’s proclamation in November automatically denying asylum to people who enter the country from Mexico without going through official border crossings.

TSA moving toward floppy-ear airport dog force because pointy-ear dogs ‘scare children’
The Transportation Security Administration is in the process of swapping out pointy-ear dogs for floppy-ear ones in an effort to put more of the public at ease when interacting with its canines.

"We’ve made a conscious effort in TSA ... to use floppy ear dogs," TSA Administrator David Pekoske said during a recent tour of operations at Washington Dulles International Airport northern Virginia.

"We find the passenger acceptance of floppy ear dogs is just better. It presents just a little bit less of a concern," Pekoske said. "Doesn’t scare children."

Massive Recall Issued for Ineffective “COEXIST” Bumper Stickers

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will recall over 550,000 units of the popular “COEXIST” bumper sticker due to an ineffective and unsustainable message of world peace, U.S. safety regulators said on Tuesday.

“After an estimated 300 billion incidents of human suffering and death due to war, religious intolerance, racism, genocide, and homophobia, from the years of 50,000 B.C.E. through 2016, this sticker needs to be pulled from retail shelves and all automobiles immediately,” the NHTSA said in a statement online.

“NHTSA likes the sticker,” the statement continued. “We believe it looks really cool in a tie-dye color scheme. In the current geopolitical climate, however, our in-house engineers predict this trend in which everybody dies will not slow down in the foreseeable future.”

Perhaps the funniest part of the COEXIST bumper sticker is that they start the word with the crescent moon of Islam. You know, the religion that raped and beheaded two European girls hiking the Atlas Mountains a couple of weeks ago.

Islam is so much about coexisting. :thumb:

This problem is closely related to the mass shooting "epidemic" in the US

Anybody care to connect the dots between the serial homeless and mass shooters?

This is a case of a problem we used to have a handle on and then decided wed rather live with the consequences of not having a handle on it

I was just reading an article on a Chinese train built in Africa. The country will never get out from under the thing and always be indebted to China.

Chinese came over, were racist as hell and didn't transfer any knowledge of how to operate the system.

Dont fall into that "everything is racist" trap

It was self interest. Selfishness, if you will

not racism

Right?

In fact, we should stop even pointing out the policy decisions that lead to these problems

Let these cities stew in their own problems and they'll deal with them or die

Great idea.

I know, maybe they should elect ANOTHER donk governor/mayor! That'll solve the problem immediately!

But institutionalizing nutjobs is so inhumane. Better to take our chances. The odds say they'll stab one of the fake people in their schizo trip before they'll shank a real person.
