I still believe that we will lose the ability to support the world population once we hit around 9 or 10 billion people

But that said, this flies a bit in the face of that if you consider the relative availability of commodities to be a determining factor:

There is a tipping point out there somewhere, but we have a long long way to go before we get anywhere close.

I think the tipping point will be reached from a societal breakdown level, not a pure "ability of the earth to support the population" level...

Societal breakdown is one result.. a symptom of overpopulation..

We are already seeing it today in its nascent forms

We increasingly flock to urban centers where we are literally on top of each other and then we proceed to percolate in our lack of space. Like too many hamsters in a too small cage- human beings have spent millenia in relative solitude... with just small familial bands as company

The world’s population being over 1 billion people is literally the last 1 second of the year of human existence:

https://www.worldometers.info/world-pop ... n-by-year/

We aren’t biologically wired to be up each others’ asses. We were 3 billion people when I was born. We are now over 7 billion after 50 years.

So I think you are correct - we’ll kill each other long before we starve, but that is also a function of population.

Pled guilty. And made a statement that they didn’t think their arrests were racially motivated.

A college really can’t faceplant more than Oberlin did here - but if you look at their communications with their alumni, they are doubling down on the SJW stupidity

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. His opinions on abortion have nothing to do with his qualifications as a cyber security expert. Excluding him is regressive.

A true conservative. And more importantly, one with character and integrity. I don't always agree with him but I do respect him.

He is a Cubs fan at heart. Switching to the Nats seems illogical: the Team of Big Guvmint and Bandwagon Fans. :stir: :poke:

Why do some of the people around Trump so diminish and humiliate themselves by sticking by him. Like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnbIBJZgcK4

Why does somebody like Mick Mulvaney shill for this atrocity? What the hell is going on?

You can‘t do a made for TV interview if someone nearby is having a coughing fit. Trump was right to ask him to leave. This was a bunch to do about nothing. Yet it triggered your daily TDS..

Russia turns back North Dakota Based B52's.

Russia: Our Fighters Turned Back B52 Bombers

B52 bombers were intercepted by Russian fighter jets over the Baltic Sea and Black Sea yesterday according to the Russian government.

And it appears the bombers had taken off from Minot Air Force Base.

I don't get this idea that we can't type certain words anymore. It started with the n-word (can't say it, can't even spell it, unless you are African American) but now here's an article where it doesn't spell two words the entire article and I had to go look up in other publications what words were so offensive. I think we lose something when we become so offended by speech and words that we demand they be completely eradicated from the language, spoken or written.
