We need to diversify and encourage gun ownership...

This is a fascinating article about U.S. gun metrics
Clearly we need to diversify the private gun ownership pool
Having a strong DIVERSE population of gun owners will help us all get less "reactionary" gun legislation
We need INTELLIGENT gun legislation
Not more gun legislation

I have a nice Kimber I'm trying to sell. If someone who is female, brown, and/or LGBTWhatever has $1400 and is 18 and not visibly crazy I'm happy to part with it.

Same goes with my small, but nice Winchester shotgun collection..

You can't beat a riot gun for style points.
Not a huge fan of lever action rifles though.

Had a Marlin .444 in a lever action, heavy bastard and you needed to cycle the action as fast and hard as you can or the cartridge would bind up halfway in. Great for digging up ground squirrels, but spendy ammo. Traded it off for a leupold rifle scope..
Chiz, have two nearly mint Winchester Model 12 pumps, and a really old winchester 37 in 16 gauge in the "to go cabinet"

Do they still make 16 gauge shot shells?
Had an old Savage model 99 back in the day that was pretty handy

I saw a guy fire 10 rounds from a Winchester lever action 45 rifle in 4.5 seconds
and hit everything he was aiming at
There are some youtube video of guys firing 7 rounds in 2.5 seconds all on target
I can do 7 rounds out of the Rossi 30 cal rancho delux in about 10 seconds with good accuracy
plus its pretty as a swimsuit model

Hell yes they do. GREAT home defense weapon. Just take that barrel down about 4 inches with a hacksaw....

I'm not even sure I know what a .444 is..?
I am really coming to love those Winchester 12 pumps... The old 25 Model is catching my eye these days
A few used ones from the 1950's are floating around the shops and they are NICE

I remember when I was a kid it was a lot easier to carry around all day than the 12s. Now that I think about it I don't remember ever seeing a 16 that
wasn't a pump action.

They're nice, I favor the Remington though. Gold Standard for pumps.

Basically, an extended .44 mag to 45/70 dimensions, still shoots the blunt nosed 240 grain bullet, was once touted as the most powerful lever action rifle in the world. Cowboy porn, you see..

Yes, but not in many varieties, and they are spendy when compared to 12 and 20 gauge.

Yeah, got a matched set that needs to go very similar to this image, bought one from a winchester collector in Oregon about 30 years ago, and the other from a local preacher about 25 years ago. They are 95%+ on blue, and the only flaw on either is a small crack in the wood at the bottom of the slide.
