Haven't read the article yet, but heard on the radio that the Trump campaign hired some firm that utilizes data mined from social media to help them craft/execute their outreach campaign. So instead of relying heavily on TV ads and other typical media, they focused more on social media outlets to get their message out. Pretty interesting considering all we heard was hilldog's ground game was much greater than Trumps.

I think a comparable situation is the sabermetric development and decision making that now dictates baseball front offices. Will be interesting to see if this is the new way campaigns are run from here on out.
