No mention of this administration significantly growing the deficit during this time?

I can make my life a lot better too, at least for a while, if I borrow more money and stop paying my bills.

Yep.Dumb move. There is virtually no standard by which the Fed usually measures that would indicate the need to cut rates. I disagree with the move.

But short growth after a deep recession is such a bright, shiny, object!

(When it’s your guy in power).

The Fed could fuck up a wet dream.

The problem is that there are many other countries that are so far below us that we are being hurt by the higher interest rates, including the interest charge on debt. But if we lower the rates, we lose ammunition to fight a recession. And history tells us that cutting rates too late has little effect on the downward trajectory of the economy. Staying ahead of the downward move would more likely fend off a recession.
It's no easy decision. Our raising of rates should have dragged Europe along with us but it didn't. Some Euros are at negative interest rates. :ohno: :ohno:

Nancy is conducting a master class. She wants the traitor in prison as bad as anybody, but is letting the young firebrands throw grenades while she sits back all statespersonlike and waits for the rest of the chickens to come home from the child-fvcking parties that Epstein filmed.

This is more like what Putin must have on him.

I never believed that piss tapes were the goods, that's hardly out of the ordinary for a Republican politician. :coffee:
 Even Jake "Fake News" Tapper quotes a donk congresscritter that acknowledges defeat: Yeah, great job Nancy.

Seriously, whichever side you are on, we all ought to support stopping the release of economic estimates until they are final.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/economic-g ... 1564144200

Here's another link in case you get a "you must subscribe" message from the Wall Street Journal:

https://thehill.com/policy/finance/4548 ... -revisions

In this case it means Trump and his people can no longer say the achieved 3% GDP growth. But it could just as easily work the other way. Just WAIT until you have the final estimate before you release an estimate.

Trump did not win this one. Lack of minority enthusiasm was a factor in him squeaking by to a win in 2016. He does NOT...or should not...want to risk increasing minority enthusiasm for voting. He's risking that with his behavior. But it's a long way before the election so it can die down if he doesn't keep doing it for too long.

Wrong. Even the donks in DC are admitting Trump is winning this. His poll #s are UP after the back and forth between him and the hate America quartet. Even if it wasn’t planned this way, it appears a brilliant move.

After reading the court decision I have to grudgingly agree with the judge - WaPo dud not name the kid specifically

But in the decision, the judge acknowledged that the WaPo characterization was hyperbolic, and inaccurate as to what transpired.

Knew that lawsuit would fail because if the kind of shoddy journalism that was done about Sandman warranted civil penalties most of the MSM would've gone bankrupt long ago.

Side note: That section of wall that was privately built went up rather quickly and undoubtedly much more cheaply than what the Feds will pay someone to build it for. The vid below shows how they built the privately funded section. Being someone who builds things for a living, I thought it was pretty ingenious on how they get so much footage up in one run.

Which costs more to purchase, a Congressperson or a judge?

Russians can’t afford the kickback as they are still paying Hillary for the uranium.
