You know, the Republicans COULD have nominated someone who is actually qualified for the job and doesn't have serious emotional maturity and stability issues and that person would've won as well. Then you could have had someone to nominate Supreme Court Justices and who also isn't a total embarrassment to the United States in the job.

Otherwise, while there's a shot, I think getting what you think you're going to get is a crap shoot. Democrats seem to be able to rely on getting what they think they're going to get when they appoint Supreme Court Justices but Republicans haven't been nearly as successful in that regard.

And it wasn't common sense Americans who put Trump in. People with common sense wouldn't vote to put a guy who obviously has mental health issues into that job.
