Will this one last as long as the previous production agreement? Over/under on this one? 3 weeks?

Double down on alternatives and cut these pukes down to size.

Saudis, Iranians, Iraqis, Yemenis, Russians - very trustworthy bunch. I'm sure they'll stick to their production cut commitments.

The more we expand alternative energy sources the quicker they cut each others throats.
Hell, we can stop drilling now and get all the oil we want with surplus wheat and government cheese.

Yeah, lemme know the day when I can power my car with a windmill.
Finish the Keystone XL, open up ANWR, and fire up the coal plants.

Weird that they're making this move now. They tried to flood the market to bring the price down and strike back at the fracking industry here in the US, and now, failing to have done that, they're resigned to sharing the market. This is like a flag of surrender from OPEC. Yay Fracking!!!!

Less and less from coal fired plants as time goes on.

I'm not sure you understand the article.
Electricity Production
Coal = 33%
Natural gas = 33%
Nuclear = 20%
Hydropower = 6%
Other renewables = 7%
Biomass = 1.6%
Geothermal = 0.4%
Solar = 0.6%
Wind = 4.7%
Petroleum = 1%
Other gases = <1%

They tried in June I believe - to cut production but as you point out - no agreement could be settled on
This will get broken by Jan 1

Geothermal generates electricity? I'm not familiar with that.

I don't understand why people always take sides on US energy. Fucking do it all. Carbon-based, sun-based, wind-based, hydro, nuclear, etc.

I'm not sure you understand the difference between capacity and energy, spinning reserves, regulation and other ancillary services, or any of the other stuff that goes with the electric grid.

Don't worry. We're about to have a President who has no clue about anything. I'm sure he'll fix it.

Your wife goes to a church that is lead by a guy with no clue about anything...how's that working out?
And...you ELECTED to be with her.
And her dog...before it was killed because of the actions of its owner.
Have you had a real conversation with her about your true feelings about god and dog?

Maybe you and 89 can team up and find a way to refute the point of the article. I mean assuming either of you actually read it
