The Trump Tax plan examined...

The Trump Tax plan examined... as suspected it gets better the more money you make

"The middle 20 percent of earners would see their after-tax incomes go up by 1.8 percent under Trump's plan. The next 20 percent upward would see an increase of 2.2 percent, and the top 20 percent would see their incomes jump by 6.6 percent. At the very highest levels, among the top 0.1 percent, after-tax incomes would rise by 14.2 percent. Long story short: The higher the income group, the bigger the tax break in general."

So everyone keeps more of their money under the plan and it's bad. Roger that.

Hopefully he comes up with more bad ideas like this and keeping jobs and increasing security and rebuilding the military. Very, very bad.

Who said this was bad you drama queen..?
Nothing about the tax plan is bad in my opinion
I think we should leave the tax situation alone (as I've said 100 times)

We don't have a revenue problem we have a spending problem
We need to reduce spending not reduce taxes

If Trump lowers taxes thats great but that means he's going to have to SLASH spending
and I just don't see that even remotely happening

Here I am

Just enjoying not having to listen to the VAGINA EXPLOSION of FIRST! WOMAN! PRESIDENT! Clinton and how I am a vile man for daring to criticize her

Frankly Trump could be the worst possible kind of statist kleptocrat (and he might well be) but I'm still happy because I can disagree with him as vehemently as I want- and nobody's going to brand me a misogynist or a racist

Their incomes don't "increase". They get to KEEP more of what THEY made. This concept that it's all the government's money and they let YOU have what THEY want is fucking bullshit and half the reason we're in the boat we're in.

Okee Dokee Einstein...
Firstly I'm quoting the Tax Policy Center
Secondly how about you debate the point and not the triangulation of perspective

I keep seeing this complaint. Can you quote somebody who actually believes this?

Actually it doesn't concern me at all - in fact my concern meter is lower than it's been in 10-12 years

It just makes me happy - like dancing a little jig

:jack:
My income doesn't increase by me paying less taxes. My income stays the same unless I get a raise or a bonus not because i'm taxed at 25% vice 30% (or whatever the tax brackets are).

You get to keep more of the money you've earned, but that isn't an increase in income.

No, you only have your job thanks to the government. Life, Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness and Taxes are the four unalienable rights. You're lucky they let you keep any of it. :kisswink:

I keep forgetting. My great-grandfather and grandfather didn't build an entertainment and hospitality business in the 1920s and 30s...the Government did.

Thanks for the reminder. :thumb:

No, no, no. Taxes are a burden that keep me from purchasing that 7th vacation home and keep me up at night worrying about how my heirs 5 or 6 generations down the road are going to survive on so little.

Ummm yeah...yours. :suspicious:

What's funny is you'd have to search long and hard to find anyone who actually thinks what you wrote. Same goes for my quote...but viewing taxes as a burden is another story... 8-)
