Are you making money? Yes then stop it or take it away

You know Uber and Lyft are based in one of the most liberal enclaves in the country... and it is also probably the most entrepreneurial region in the country.
Yeah, cities fight things like Uber, Lyft, and AirBnB... because they're pressured by traditional cab companies, hotels, etc. I'm not so sure "liberalism" or "progressivism" is what is spurring their opposition.

It's kind of like Republicans in NC, for example, fighting Tesla b/c Tesla sells direct to the consumer.

Meanwhile, you can now visit a Tesla showroom in Charlotte (but can't buy a car there) but you can visit a Tesla showroom in Raleigh and buy a car from that one.

This. Seattle, San Fran, and Portland are all about to collapse into anarcho-syndacalistic chaos, I'm sure!
