"You're out of here"

Several different accounts of what happened between the biographer, the Trump people, and David Koch. These are the type of incidents that will make the next 4 years fun. I hope they don't go away...

Score one for Trump here. :thumb:
On Friday, Hurt approached Trump on the practice tee at Trump International Golf Club, and congratulated him on his victory in last month’s presidential election, according to an account that Hurt posted on Facebook on Saturday.

Trump responded by criticizing Hurt’s biography as untrue, to which Hurt replied “It’s all true,” according to both Hurt’s Facebook post and a transition official who was briefed on the incident, but did not want to be identified discussing a testy exchange involving the president-elect.

Trump told Hurt “you’re out of here,” according to the transition official, while Hurt wrote on Facebook that Trump told him it was “inappropriate” for him to play at the club....

Hurt said he posted his account on Facebook “to have a true factual narrative of what happened when I was there between Donald Trump and me.” He said “I knew that this story was going to get out and that there are a lot of people, such as the Trump transition people … who were going to take different facts and twist them and say things that were not true.”

But the transition official suggested Hurt was looking for publicity. “The courtesy would have been to just tee off with David Koch and keep to yourself,” said the official. “He could have easily teed off with Koch, and nobody would have said anything.”

Instead, Koch’s foursome left and played at Emerald Dunes, which Hurt described in his Facebook post as “a much, much better golf course than Trump International.”

Every time I question my own vote for GJ, I run across a gem like this --- and feel better about myself!

Never doubt your libertarian vote, and take solace in the fact that Trump is a big government statist who will be hated by all the other big government statists who wanted Hillary, the big government statist-iest of them all.

If Trump can't make libertarians out of those crybabies, nobody can.

Hey, Jabba, we never ran at full speed toward Drumpf to begin with. Get with the program.

oooooh- bitch fight! Trump and Koch will be pulling hair soon...

Trump wins when his hair comes off in Koch's hand, giving hTrump time to roundhouse him with the purse.

Last time I was on here you were preening around
telling everybody how excited you were for the future

A future that didn't include sassy women pointing glossed fingernails
and making marginally salient points about irrelevant political topics

and holding fat white men accountable for the bottom line

It's a short walk to the Trump camp from there
And I plan on lumping you and Ivy into that camp regularly

:kisswink:

Hugs
and I've got $500.00 on the Steelers Dolphins trifecta
Over / Dolphins points / Dolphins straight up

Can I compare Trump to Opie? They're both thin-skinned, humorless, and have big opinions of themselves.

Lump away, Clitz, if it makes you feel good. Look, I know you're sulking because your gal Jill Steinberg got caught in fundraising flagrante delicto in the guise of a few frivolous recounts. I'll let CID speak for himself, but I took no joy in Trump's win, but outright glee that Hildacoont lost -- and took the Donk Congressional establishment with her. Yes, I'm encouraged that Trump has made some good Cabinet picks, but I'm skeptical about others (especially Tillerson). I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Which cabinet picks do you like?

Mattis at Defense, DeVos at Education, Sessions at AG, Chao at Transportation.

Dislike Mnuchin at Treasury and Carson at HUD, in addition to Tillerson.

I'm actually more optimistic about Trumps chances of actually doing something good
Than a few of my Republican friends

Their biggest fear is the emperor has no clothes

Such as "Repeal Obama Care" and subsequently crash the Health Care system even worse
With no appropriate system behind it
and
Crash the Housing Economy by "fixing" regulation

Other than that what could happen..?

You're absolutely right - I'm overjoyed with the prospect of the next four years - but not because I'm a Trumpster. In fact, there is probably only one real difference between him and Hillary - I can criticize Trump as vehemently as I want to without having to explain that I really really don't secretly think all women should be barefoot and pregnant.

In fact, the ONLY thing I don't like about the next four years is ..... Trump. Other than that small detail, I will take my consolation in the disappearance of Clinton, the gnashing of teeth and rending of garments by my colleagues at work, the upcoming endless comparisons with Benito Attila Hitler.

It's going to be soooo much fun.

If I thought US presidents really mattered and could move the needle in any significant way, I'd probably be more worried about Trump's negatives, to be honest.

Repeal Obamacare makes for good campaign red meat but the reality is that the last chance to kill it was in the budgeting process before it took effect. We're now stuck with at least some portion of this owl sh1t.

I'm seeing some tells that the GOP leadership knows this and is quietly trying to figure out how to change it enough that they can't be accused of keeping it, but keeping it enough so they don't own the fvckup

Thankfully to Paul Ryan
repealing Obama Care only means defunding Planned Parenthood
And then running around the senate floor
with his hands in the air high fiving himself

and the smart money is on the Giants and the under...
There's just no way Green Bay scores more than 24 (Won't happen)

The spreads for both NFC games seem high.

I'd take that action all day
Were you here in front of me we'd have a nice $50 side bet going
Green Bay has a season average of 27 points a game
Playoff games tend to be low scoring

I'm in a playoff pool where everyone starts with 1000 shares and you can bet against the spread, over/under, and the money line on any playoff game. Whoever ends up with the most shares wins.

Cleats, keep posting so I know how not to bet.

Thx!
