Cleets Was Right

So I had to attend an informational meeting for my oldest's traffic safety class. There were around 50 parents and kids in the room. The instructor was wearing a sport coat and slacks and closely resembled this guy from Up in Smoke:

Image

Right out of the gates he starts lecturing about "Target Zero", the goal of that "Governor over in Olympia" who wants to reduce traffic fatalities down to zero. The governor evidently "likes the Europeans" and their drivers licensing laws...a point brought up repeatedly throughout the night. {I really wanted to quote him as saying "them Europeans" there but that would be hyperbole.)

Anyhoo...he goes on to repeatedly blame downtown Seattle voters, the European thinking governor, and most notably Google, Tesla, and Ford who WILL, within the next year, push to move the legal driving age to 25, restrict teenage driving to daylight hours, and make the entire process of obtaining a license including the class and associated fees around $5,000 in an effort to convert us all into using automated cars for the sake of reducing traffic deaths to zero and looking more like Europe (he really did mention the governor's affinity for Europe numerous times...I'm not joking).

So you heard it here first, folks. It's on it's way. And the only thing between you and the governor over in Olympia, Downtown Seattle, Europeans, and the impending invasion of automated car use is the smart voters of Eastern Washington!

Cleets is only right when you are looking at him straight on and using your own perspective.

Here's something Clizzertz was also right about:

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStor ... n-45153456

Trump is making states' rights advocates out of New York liberals and it is a beautiful thing to see!

These morons are learning the hard way that when you build a ginormous statist monster of a central government, it can also be used against people who support ginormous statist monster central governments

Well to be honest it didn't take a rocket scientist to see this coming from a long way off...

The state of Washington has been moving in its own direction for a while now
the wants and needs of THIS state are NOT reflected in our Federal Government

Sure, but that cuts both ways, right? Or is that what you're acknowledging?

In any event, from the aricle, no one is pro abortion.

Yeah, in the direction of becoming faggy Euros.

This was covered in the OP.

What cuts both ways?

How is this not a win for Republicanism over Federalism? I see no downside
