) and yet we heard not one word of condemnation regarding election influence of foreign countries from the Left.

Saudis send troops into neighboring Bahrain (where we have a naval base) to crush a majority uprising against a non-elected minority oppressive government = OK and billions of trade
Russia helps maintain Syrian democratically elected, leader = bad and sanctions
Saudis helps democratically ousted Yemen leader = OK and assistance to continue civil war
Assad uses barrel bombs to bomb civilians = bad, sanctions, attempts to remove him from power, and loud US pronouncements, attempting to paint a picture of us leading a world united against the evil of barrel bombs
King Salman uses barrel bombs to bomb civilians = US continued support, and the statement that the US has not signed off on the agreement about limiting barrel bombs so that we do not fall under those guidelines
