The moral teachings of Jesus are just filler in the Bible. The important thing is that you take the creation story literally. :ohno:

The deplorables don't give a ****. They'll brush off a co-conspiracy felony just like they brushed off Trump's sexual assaults, cheating people out of money, defrauding students, entertaining the Russians for dirt, etc.

Their God-king can do no wrong. And the GOP won't do anything.

As long as they're #winning, they'll continue living in their fantasy world.
Just like the left brushed off Clinton's sexual assaults..

What about the primary against 16 other candidates, some who were reasonable?

And which Democrat would conservatives vote for? Because I think the answer is none. The GOP has shifted so far right in recent years that even moderate policies are painted as socialist, liberal, and unpatriotic.

And yes, that includes ANYONE that doesn't think Trump should be impeached.

What has been proven that is impeachable. Also, even if he is impeached, Pence will continue his work.

Nothing. There has been no crime that has been shown that Trump committed.

Even if Trump is impeached, there won't be a POTUS Pence. Impeaching a president doesn't remove him from office. Even
-If the donks gain control of the House
-And If they then decide to conduct impeachment proceedings
-And If they then get the 218 votes to impeach

There is little to no chance the donks gain control of the Senate, and there is little to no chance a conk controlled Senate will vote to convict.

That's the issue here - so far, they haven't shown that Trump did anything illegal. Immoral? Sure, but who thought Trump was a paragon of morality prior to this? Surrounded by some folks who are breaking the laws, especially tax laws? Sure, but Trump has been operating in the gray areas of the law for years, and famously didn't release his own tax returns, so who didn't already know this?

Heck, at this point, if he wanted to, Trump could just refer to anything related to Stormy Daniels or the National Enquirer story as "just about sex" and resurrect Clinton's successful defense in the '90's.

They have to get him on something related to Russia and Russia interfering illegally in the election at Trump's knowledge or green-lighting of it. If they don't get that, then he just comes out of this stronger and we look at another four years. If Democrats reel in the House in November, the pressure to impeach will be almost impossible to resist, and since the Senate's not removing him on the evidence we have today then he gets to run with that feather in his cap in 2020. It's Russian-conspiracy or bust here - still a ways to go for that.
assuming you don't lose the Senate too... Turd Boobs is **** without some deus ex voting machina
It takes a 2/3 vote in the Senate to remove a President following an impeachment. Not just a Senate rule, a Constitutional detail. Democrats could win the Senate but gaining a 2/3 majority is impossible right now. Only way Trump is removed from office is if Republicans think setting Pence up as a sure thing in 2020 would be the outcome.

FEC rules are different from federal campaign finance law.

For one you get indicted on federal charges by DOJ. For the other you get fined by the FEC. Slight difference.

Trump's campaign broke FEC rules, was fined $1.3 million and moved on like nothing happened.

At what point can Trump get nailed for breaking the campaign finance laws with regard to Stormy Daniels? This seems like and easy "if - then" scenario but not sure if it is from a legal standpoint. Wouldn't it be hard to prove that it was to protect the "campaign"? Couldn't Trump just say it was to protect his marriage? Or to protect someone else, like a person who set up the encounter? Unless they have Trump on tape saying it was to protect the campaign, it seems like he could wiggle out of this.
This is the best article I’ve seen to date on this particular topic, as well as Mueller’s sham investigation as a whole. Written by Democrat Mark Penn, adviser to Bill Clinton during his impeachment:

http://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/ ... t-up-trump

Sounds like Trump has no real worries once all the dust and MSM theatrics settle.
Here is the key takeaway from the article for jellybean and dbj:
Let us also not forget that President Clinton was entrapped into lying about his affairs and, although impeached, was acquitted by the Senate. The lesson was clear: We are not going to remove presidents for lying about who they had affairs with, nor even convict politicians on campaign finance violations for these personal payments.

For a "stable genius" and someone who is "innocent," Trump sure doesn't act like. He thinks people that flip aka tell the truth shouldn't be allowed to do so, he thinks we'd all go poor if he were impeached

David Pecker, the chief executive of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, was granted immunity by federal prosecutors for providing information about Michael Cohen and Donald Trump in the criminal investigation into hush-money payments for two women during the 2016 presidential campaign, according to people familiar with the matter.

In exchange for immunity, Mr. Pecker, CEO of American Media, Inc., has met with prosecutors and shared details about payments Mr. Cohen arranged in an effort to silence two women who alleged sexual encounters with Mr. Trump, including Mr. Trump’s knowledge of the deals, some of the people familiar said. Prosecutors have indicated that Mr. Pecker won’t be criminally charged for his participation in the deals, the people said.

Mr. Pecker has previously said he is a longtime friend of Mr. Trump.

Prosecutors have indicated Dylan Howard, chief content officer of American Media, also won’t be criminally charged in Cohen investigation, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Messrs. Pecker and Howard and American Media didn’t immediately respond to request for comment.

Mr. Pecker’s assistance appeared to have informed the charging documents made public on Tuesday as part of Mr. Cohen’s guilty plea to eight criminal charges, including campaign-finance violations tied to the payments.

During his guilty-plea hearing, Mr. Cohen, Mr. Trump’s former personal lawyer, said that at Mr. Trump’s direction, he broke federal laws on campaign contributions by coordinating payments to the two women for the purpose of suppressing negative information about Mr. Trump and influencing the 2016 election.

American Media executives were involved in both hush-money deals that formed the basis of Mr. Cohen’s guilty plea to campaign-finance violations, prosecutors said. One was a $130,000 payment to Stephanie Clifford—a former porn actress who goes professionally by Stormy Daniels—to keep her from publicly discussing an alleged affair with Mr. Trump.

The second was a $150,000 payment made to former Playboy model Karen McDougal for her exclusive story of an alleged extramarital affair with Mr. Trump, a story that was purchased by American Media in August 2016 at Mr. Cohen’s urging, and then never published.

The immunity status of Mr. Pecker was first reported by Vanity Fair. The Wall Street Journal published Wednesday that Mr. Pecker provided information to prosecutors.

I almost expect him to use a line like there's a "vast something something conspiracy" that's out to get him and his family. I never thought that we'd see the 90's happen all over again, and just have the two sides switch places.
