Coal Sludge... Free to dump in rivers now
Coal sludge / dust dumping has now been made legal in the United States under the GOP and 45 regime. Ever wondered what it looks like when coal sludge spills into a West Virginia River? This photo is from the coal slurry spill in Fields Creek, WV, this week.

Its a really really really good thing that Trump ONLY got rid of this regulation so EVREYONE can run right out and poison rivers and streams. This has nothing to do with coal and everything to do with getting rid of drinkable water, Trump probably owns stock in Nestle.
Thank God, it just makes perfect sense! The reporting and headlines on this are 100% spot on!

Regulations didn't get rid of coal jobs. Mechanization did.

I know I have been waiting years for this day. I have about 500 gallons I am going to run right out and dump in one of those sewers with the fish painted on them.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Its a really really really good thing that Trump ONLY got rid of this regulation so EVREYONE can run right out and poison rivers and streams. From what I have read, this was something Obama put in place right before he left. There are plenty of protections in place to prevent dumping.93henfan wrote:To the victors go the spoils. And the shit talking privileges.Ivytalk wrote: Alfie has been on 24/7 Spankravision since November 8.

Let's check in on Fukashima...
http://www.globalresearch.ca/fukushima- ... tion/28870
Oh...never mind.
Wait...let's check in on where the environmentally friendly solar power story:
"New research shows, albeit unintentional, that generating electricity with solar panels can also be a very bad idea. In some cases, producing electricity by solar panels releases more greenhouse gases than producing electricity by gas or even coal."
http://www.lowtechmagazine.com/2008/03/ ... ide-o.html
Oh...wait...
And...The Washington Post:
'"A recent Washington Post article, however, has revealed that China’s booming solar industry is not as green as one might expect. Many of the solar panels that now adorn European and American rooftops have left behind a legacy of toxic pollution in Chinese villages and farmlands.
...for the time being the industry continues to tread the traditional path of “pollute first, clean up afterwards.” At stake are the underrepresented groups in Chinese society, especially rural farmers who depend on increasingly polluted lands for a living. China’s shining solar industry, while enabling blue skies elsewhere, is leaving behind a scarred landscape at home.
So far, the environment has been the biggest loser in China’s rapid economic growth. The irony of the recent Post exposé is that the environment is not even being considered seriously by those Chinese industries that bear a “green” tag, and whose products support progress toward a better environment. As China becomes more industrialized and strives to meet the insatiable demands of a burgeoning urban middle class, there is every reason to question how long the current state of affairs can last, and how much time it will take before businesses care enough about their impacts to truly protect the environment."
