Think that is enough for Bronco to complain about too much vacation yet? :coffee:

This seems like a fairly written piece from an unlikely source:

Woody Wilson played nearly 1200 rounds of golf during his 2 terms, according to his biographer, A. Scott Berg. Appears that being elected President is an invitation to a golf vacation, with work in between.

"Trips", or playing at his course in Florida?

Playing a quick 9 or 18 leaves a bunch of the day left for work.

But yes, anyone who bitched about Obama's golf or vacations and is not crying fowl here isa hack.

Yeah. Not to mention the cost of flying him to Florida and back so often.

I never bitched about GWB's vacations either. It's not as if they aren't on call 24/7.

Stupid.

I don't begrudge or moan about any President's vacations or where they choose to spend their time. To each their own.

It is interesting with Trump, though, as I don't believe we have had a recent President with such a large number of adult children who also therefore get Secret Service Protection. Considering that Trump's sons frequently travel and internationally at that, I think we'll easily end up with the most expensive tab ever to have to cover a Presidential family. Of course, the post 9/11 ones are already the most expensive, but this is the biggest and most wide flung family to have to be covered to date.

I'm liking the effect Trump is having on liberals

Theyre all becoming fiscal hawks now - pretty soon they'll be caucusing with the Tea Party

I've said all along that in terms of statist big spending tendencies there is zero daylight between Trump and Clinton - only the packaging

Yes with respect to the Twitter Posts the main thing is Trump's total hypocrisy. You know, consistent with him doing things like criticizing Ford for wanting to have manufacturing operations in a country other than the United States when all of his own manufacturing operations were/are in countries other than the United States.

In this case it's the spending angle. Saw several stories on the basic point made at http://www.politicususa.com/2017/02/21/ ... years.html today. Saw one story where it showed a Trump tweet criticizing Obama for going to a Clinton Campaign rally on the government dime then showed him taking Air Force One to his self described "campaign rally" in Florida this past week.

He's totally full of shit. What else is new?

Gotta give Trump credit for being a transparent hypocrite. Obama, Bush, Clinton and the rest, did their best to keep the hypocrisy under cover.

Um... Hello God it's me Margret
Can I be counted as somebody that wishes Trump would actually take more golf trips
My preference would be a 4 year golf trip

Chizzy doesn't understand golf...that's probably why he got kicked out of college. Liberals don't know how to concentrate on achieving a goal, so golf doesn't register. And don't even mention chess. Somehow, kalm has been able to find a balance with golf as a Liberal...but he is obviously starting to crack under the stress.

WTF..?

Firstly:
I've never been more proud of anything in my life than getting kicked out of THAT college
Secondly:
Golf and "Not achieving goals" seems like an odd compilation of random things
Thirdly:
Chess (I mentioned it)

and finally:

Trump is not a businessman. He is a con man. He's failed at more businesses than he's succeeded at. He's just really good at bullshitting people. Scamming them.

Actually I even wonder at saying he's "really good" at bullshitting people because he's so obviously full of shit. The tragedy is that there are enough gullible idiots who buy it for him to succeed.

It's like a secular Jimmy Swaggart or something.

My point was that I would MUCH rather talk government business playing golf than through an indoor, suit wearing meeting.

Maybe he should invite the Chinese since he did a real ta ta to Xi Jinping after all the smack talk on China during the election. Yep. Lots of big talk on China but he caved like a little girl when the rubber actually met the road. For all the talk about the press being mean to Trump that's one story that hasn't been heavily emphasized but it happened.

Not that I'm upset. One thing that really worried me is that he'd start a trade war with China and it would devastate our economy. Clearly he's not going to do that because its clear that his balls jump right out of his scrotum into his body cavity when he actually has to deal with the Chinese. But it still showed what a complete phony he is.
