Schumer Berates Citizen at Restaurant

If any politician followed me outside of a restaurant and acted like this I would kick his fucking teeth down his throat. The only reason he did it was to intimidate a conservative woman.

This story as of right now is nowhere on CNN.com or on live CNN TV..............................

Imagine not only the media coverage if this had been Mitch McConnell or Paul Ryan castigating a private citizen in this manner.

We'd have at least three more threads about how Trump being so unhinged is rubbing off on lawmakers

Not surprised. Ted Koppel calls opinion makers like Hannity, "Bad for America" and last night the story is "Ted Koppel tells Sean Hannity he's "Bad for America."" And it focuses on Fox News.

I've given up on CNN. Sad, I used to watch all the time but can't stomach it anymore.

They seem to be thinking the MSNBC model is the way forward, while MSNBC is trying to move towards the center.

Which basically means not only are they all crap media, they're also sh1tty businesspeeps

Oh, and BTW Koppel is right about Hannity. He creates the same visceral reaction in me that that Maddow dude does

I would ague that biased information being passed off as objective information is more of a problem than commentators themselves.

Hannity and Maddow don't pretend to not have a worldview they want to get across to you.

This. Much of the American population do not know the difference between news and opinion. I have been watching this closely over the last year. There are shows that are strictly opinion like Mr. Maddow, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc., but when you are watching the news on these networks, they interject opinion. They tell you what to think about a certain event. Print is no different. I don't know where to get solid news anymore.

Schumer is a tool....the blonde ho with the same last name is too. She isn't funny, cute or interesting. I think they should both go away. He is a condescending ass, can't even listen to him talk when he is berating us for all being stupid, can't image how bad he was if he was trying to being an ass.

Yes but that's like trying to find the earth by looking at the opposite edges of the universe

Is Salon really as out there as Info Wars?

Addicting Info or Occupy Democrats seems more analogous, imo.

I would say the Blaze is the conservative version of Salon.

Infowars is a conspiracy site first and a conservative site second. During the Bush years you could've mistaken Infowars for a far-left website.

No need for acting like that. He should have saved it for the State of the Union address next year, assuming there will be an address.

I dunno, I needed to throw something out there and stuff like NaturalNews seems too specialized. Plus once you get far enough out there right and left start to become indistinguishable

Real answer though, I read all of it. Lots of it for the laughs.

He's a tool for sure, but the POTUS says or does something just as embarrassing on pretty much a daily basis. :coffee:

Good one

Salon is as slanted a rag as any of the hard right - once you get beyond a certain point you're useless as a "news" outlet and arguing degrees is just trying to justify the confirmation biases one finds there
