He used the word "nugatory". That's the new bit I got from the article. Otherwise, just another person who knows history but fails to understand it when they, yet again, try to apply Nazism to what exists in America today.

Right after the election I pissed off a colleague by saying, "Let me know when the Reichstag burns"
That was seen even by a hard left screech owl as a bit over the top
I guess we've moved into the mainstream

Gun sales are down dramatically
as the guy who was going to take all your guns didn't
and now you've got a sh!t load of guns you don't really need or use
This type of thing "The End Is Near"
sells a lot of end time products and that's about it
