Yeah, but Biden thinks when the stock market crashed in 1929 President Roosevelt addressed a national TV audience to explain what happened.
He did serve as VP under President Barack America, who has a big stick, so that ought to count for something..

1) The right made a huge deal out of all the above Obama gaffes.
2) There was more than just the airports that Trump screwed up.
3) Remember these:

On previous occasions, Trump has derided critics for relying on a teleprompter when delivering speeches. In 2012 he said of then-President Barack Obama, "Why does @BarackObama always have to rely on teleprompters?" And in 2016 he railed on his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton tweeting, "Bad performance by Crooked Hillary Clinton! Reading poorly from the telepromter! She doesn't even look presidential!"


But now it is ok to use Telprompters, and screwing up with them is ok?

Mispronouncing a word isn’t quite the same as not knowing basic history and thinking we had air superiority during a war that predates aircraft.

Having said that, and actually reading the speech. It was a good speech. I'm glad it wasn't full of politics. He flubbed a line and make himself sound silly with this lack of historical knowledge. You'd think a stable genius knows we didn't have aircraft or airports in the 18th century.


Ramming the ramparts, I can accept. It's awkward but i'm sure somewhere in the Revolution or War of 1812, a rampart was rammed.
