I have no problem when a person respectfully disagrees or even gets a bit heated with me on a position. But when a person basically says that because I support a position they disagree with (2nd Amendment) that I have bloody hands (inferring I am a murderer), I really do not have much sympathy for them as an individual. You get what you sow.

First thing I was taught about firearms was to always treat any gun as if it was loaded and double check to make sure the chamber was empty.

...also he was the producer of the movie and there are stories about lax safety on set coming out. Even more liability for Baldwin.

Yeah, the information coming out even suggests this wasn't the first accidental discharge. It's tragic and was an accident - but the production company and Baldwin are liable for what happens.

Btw - prop guns are retro-fitted/manufactured to ONLY fit blanks. So, it's interesting that they have real guns on a movie set.

Baldwin violated the top 2 rules of gun safety:

1. Treat every firearm as if the gun were loaded.
You don’t rely on anyone to tell you that, you ALWAYS check the chamber to see if its loaded.

2. NEVER EVER point the gun at something/someone you don’t intend to shoot.

This is about as much of an accident as someone driving 120 down the highway causing a wreck that kills someone and injures another.

I get that, and like I said, he's liable. But instead of treating it as a tragedy - you jumped right to politics. Not EVERYTHING has to be political.
