Trump has plenty of easy targets in this oil blame game.....so I don't think that he cares one way of the other what happens to oil prices short term. As long as he has a scapegoat......Trump is GOLDEN.
Kind of like how Trump is your scapegoat? Lol

Lockhardt is an idiot. The oil & natural gas industry employs about 7 million Americans.
https://www.usenergyjobs.org/2019-report
Its one thing to have low gas prices. But $20 a barrel, which it hit 2 days ago, is ridiculous  Those jobs go bye bye at that price. Heck, if it stayed there you would be getting gas at the pump in most of the country at under $1.00 a gallon (nationally taxes avg about 55 cents/gallon) Now its rebounded to close to $30. It needs to be around $50 a barrel to break even.
https://www.investopedia.com/articles/i ... barrel.asp

Not the $112 a barrel it hit last year, or $120 a few years ago Around $80 might be the sweet spot.
With all the oil/nat gas jobs in ND I'm surprised you'd post Lockhardt's nonsense.

Notice how in all those picture comparisons they neglect to mention that Obama'a was sunny, and Trump's was forecast for rain and in the 40s. I've seen enough Nov-Dec football games to know that a forecast of rainy & cold you're not going to have near the crowd as sunny and cold. Despite that, the below photo not nearly as lopsided as the above.

Starting to think BDK is actually Trump. If Trump posted here, would it be any different than BDK?

BDK's post are usually over 140 characters. Trump is so used to twitter that his would be shorter.

We're less than a month in with a low percentage of the workforce only starting to realize what going even one month without a paycheck is like. It will get worse before it rebounds. we're all about to discover what economic security and, materialism, and over consumption truly mean. This includes things like oil, commercial real estate and all jobs. No industry will escape the ramifications, even ones where demand is high.

A RECAP OF THE LAST THREE WEEKS
AMERICA: Oh my god! Coronavirus! What should we do?
CALIFORNIA: Shut down your state.
AMERICA: Wait... what? Why?
CALIFORNIA: Because 40 million people live here and we did it early, and it’s working.
OHIO: Whoa... whoa... let’s not be hasty now. The president said that this whole coronavirus thing is a democratic hoax.
CALIFORNIA: He also said that windmills cause cancer. Shut down your state.
TEXAS: But the president said that we only have 15 cases and soon it'll be zero.
CALIFORNIA: The president can’t count to fifteen. Nor even spell it. Shut down your state.
NEW JERSEY: Us too?
CALIFORNIA: Yes, you guys too. Just like when Christie shut down the bridge, but it’s your whole state.
FLORIDA: But what about all these kids here on spring break?? They spend a lot of money here!
CALIFORNIA: Those kids invented the tide pod challenge. Shut down your state.
LOUISIANA: But wait let’s have Mardi Gras first. It entertains people.
CALIFORNIA: It also kills them. Shut it down.
GEORGIA: Ok well how about we keep the state open for all of our mega churches? Maybe we can all pray really hard until the coronavirus just goes away!
CALIFORNIA: Which is working like a charm for mass shootings. Jesus told us to tell you to shut down your state.
OKLAHOMA: What about the tigers?
CALIFORNIA: What about a dentist. Shut it down.
WYOMING: Hold up, maybe we should go county by county like the president said.
CALIFORNIA: Stop acting like there are counties in Wyoming. There are no counties in Wyoming. Wyoming is a county. Shut it down.
PENNSYLVANIA: But big coal.
CALIFORNIA: But big death. Shut it.
WEST VIRGINIA: But we were the last state to get coronavirus!
CALIFORNIA: And don’t make us explain to you why that was. Shut it down.
NORTH CAROLINA: But the republican national convention is coming here!
CALIFORNIA: SHUT... ok fine do what you want.

^^^Double-edged sword there.

Demand is way down (not as many driving), meanwhile Russia and Saudi are working to undercut American production, which is dependent on higher-cost production methods.

Those production methods are both good and bad - created a lot of good-paying jobs, yet causes a lot of environmental damage. The other issue with those production methods it is very hard to restart, so companies are still producing, rather than shut-down and then be unable to fully restart in the future.

Might be a great time to fill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (Could absorb ALL US Production for next 15 days, which wouldn't be needed - but a gradual filling (say, 1/10 of the daily production) could fill it in 5 months.
Trump wants it filled. Congress neglected to provide the funding for it in the stimulus bill. In the meantime oil companies have been offered the option to lease the space to store the glut they have.

The donkey stepping on a typical WWII anti personnel land mine wouldn't 'likely kill everyone'. As spread out as they are (notice the one guy in the far distance, and the guys undoubtedly out of camera shot), if the donkey stepped on one, would depend on where everyone was in relation to the donkey, and the blast radius of the mine. Maybe kill no one. Maybe 1 guy. Maybe wound 1 or 2. That's why they are spread out so if anyone steps on one, it only takes out 1 guy. My grandfather stepped directly on one during WW II. Wounded badly, but survived.

This is fvcking hilarious. I don't know which part to quote.
At your recent press conference – more a word salad that had a stroke and fell down stairs, you were CLEARLY so out of your depth you needed scuba gear.
