We're mounting quite a bit of evidence for obstruction of justice.![]()
And, we'll see what the FinCEN shows.
But, remember this is a counterintelligence investigation. Almost all of the evidence is classified. Yes, you can argue "if there was evidence, it would have leaked." But, I don't think that's necessarily true.

Trial will be United States of America vs. Donald Trump
There's almost no evidence of obstruction of justice at this time, despite CNN's hopes that there are. Comey's letter is the closest thing to such a charge and if the leaked information is true, including the words used in that conversation three months ago, then it's not much. Especially considering that Comey, if he thought it was truly an obstruction of justice, didn't do anything other than write himself a memo. The recent stuff that just came out last night sounds like Trump wants people to tell his side of the story, especially if he knows the evidence is there to show no collusion on his part (him personally, not people that worked for him - clearly Flynn is going to be busted on some charge, they'll have their choice of what to charge him with, and likely others). There could certainly be a smoking gun somewhere and Trump could certainly be guilty of something that would rise to impeachment (other than buffoonery) - we're just not there yet.Skjellyfetti wrote:That was also last week. Of course, partisanship only exists on the right side of the political aisle.kalm wrote:"WE the people"Skjellyfetti wrote:

Conks are conditioned to only think "me".
You know that wont happen. Too many members of his own party are already exhausted by his shit.andy7171 wrote:Jebus! What is going to happen when he gets re-elected? The minority is going to go into conniption fits!!!

I think we are starting to see a pattern of behavior. Last week it was that he kinda/sorta asked Comey to drop the investigation. This week we're hearing (and actually there's testimony occurring today) he made similar requests to DNI and NSA Directors Coats and Rogers (respectively). Coats and Rogers haven't confirmed/denied, so keep that mind.GannonFan wrote:There's almost no evidence of obstruction of justice at this time, despite CNN's hopes that there are. You do understand that the reporter on the story that claims Trump kinda/sorta asked Comey to drop the investigation never saw the memo. He quoted someone who claimed to have seen it .Ibanez wrote:I think we are starting to see a pattern of behavior. Last week it was that he kinda/sorta asked Comey to drop the investigation. Or this can be the Deep State just throwing stuff against the wall, hoping something sticks.
Don't worry your sweet little head Hoagie, Comey is going to testify before Congress shortly, and all will be revealed...Col Hogan wrote:You do understand that the reporter on the story that claims Trump kinda/sorta asked Comey to drop the investigation never saw the memo. Nothing like building a case in the media using third-hand information...

The reporter was read the memo directly by a source who had the memo. They confirmed it with a second source who had seen the memo.Col Hogan wrote: You do understand that the reporter on the story that claims Trump kinda/sorta asked Comey to drop the investigation never saw the memo. Still third hand and the reporter has not seen it....so you confirmed what I said...Skjellyfetti wrote:The reporter was read the memo directly by a source who had the memo. Mueller has reviewed the memos.

And, I'm pretty sure he'll be questioning the WH officials that asked Rogers and Coats to intervene in FBI investigation to shut it down.
And if Comey confirms it, then its a story...otherwise, third hand info...Grizalltheway wrote:Don't worry your sweet little head Hoagie, Comey is going to testify before Congress shortly, and all will be revealed...Col Hogan wrote:

So you don't think the memos exist? Or the excerpts from them were inaccurate? Or what?Col Hogan wrote: Still third hand and the reporter has not seen it....so you confirmed what I said...
Unfortunately, now that Mueller has been appointed, Comey's testimony will be much more boring.Col Hogan wrote:And if Comey confirms it, then its a story...otherwise, third hand info...Grizalltheway wrote:

What if Comey doesn't confirm the story...what then?

Yep. We haven't seen any evidence so far. Only been told about alleged memos and statements that anonymous sources claimed that Trump said. Anonymous & alleged doesn't equal evidence...Col Hogan wrote:Still third hand and the reporter has not seen it....so you confirmed what I said...Skjellyfetti wrote:

Yeah, there's no way in hell Trump will win the conk nomination, just like people were saying on here in the summer/fall 2015..Vidav wrote:You know that wont happen. Yeah, summer/fall 2015 people were saying he would get the nomination, and yet he did.AZGrizFan wrote:Vidav wrote:

Hell, I never thought he's get ELECTED, so I sure as hell won't bet against him getting REELECTED.
I just mean now people have had a chance to see the results and even members of his own party in DC are speaking out against him. It's not the same.BDKJMU wrote:Yeah, there's no way in hell Trump will win the conk nomination, just like people were saying on here in the summer/fall 2015..Vidav wrote:
