Where'd you get your list? The past few weeks, local news have touted Charlotte as one of the fastest growing cities. I wouldn't picture Greenville, SC as a fast growing city...at least I haven't heard or read anything like that lately.89Hen wrote:None of them are on the list.Chizzang wrote:I was talking like

Those are the two criteria for being considered a town in Montana.Chizzang wrote:89Hen wrote: 1. Conroe City, Texas (Houston, The Woodlands, Sugar Land)

I've been to Bend Oregon many (MANY) times.. its a bump on a log
I've been to Conroe Texasit's got a post office on the main corner across from the bar
And Meridian is actually Boise (which is a great city) Literally it's Boise

First couple lists that came up on google. Didn't know you wanted to qualify your list for only big cities, but OK Seattle is up there, but I never thought of Atlanta, Miami or Fort Worth as a bastion of hipsters. But they are everywhere... well at least where the food trucks are.Chizzang wrote:What list is that Hen..?89Hen wrote: None of them are on the list.
Fastest growing suburbs of real cities that you posted

I think just about every city finds a list that has them picked first in something. If you have enough qualifiers, many cities can claim they're #1 in something.Ibanez wrote:Where'd you get your list? I think CLT has been listed as #3. I don't care enough to research.89Hen wrote:I think just about every city finds a list that has them picked first in something. Sounds like Frisco Texas. Cookie cutter city that went from 20,000 to 120,000 in a decade. Contrived, stand alone downtown in the middle of nowhere.Chizzang wrote:My guess:Skjellyfetti wrote:Is Conroe, TX a city or a Houston exurb? How many of these people moving to Conroe work in Conroe?
20% of the bedrooms in Conroe work in Conroe

It's a Houston suburb that has grown from 25K people to probably three times that size in the last decade
Hey: Col
I'll be in Houston this summer - you available..?
