Where'd you get your list? The past few weeks, local news have touted Charlotte as one of the fastest growing cities. I wouldn't picture Greenville, SC as a fast growing city...at least I haven't heard or read anything like that lately.

First couple lists that came up on google. Didn't know you wanted to qualify your list for only big cities, but OK Seattle is up there, but I never thought of Atlanta, Miami or Fort Worth as a bastion of hipsters. But they are everywhere... well at least where the food trucks are. :kisswink:

I love where this thread is going...
It has the feel of the "White people love Portland and Seattle thread"
Where BDKJMU posted a bunch of towns that were whiter than Seattle and Portland

Like grandpappy Junction New Hampshire is whiter than Portland... You don't say
Which he proceeded to call "CITIES"

I think just about every city finds a list that has them picked first in something. If you have enough qualifiers, many cities can claim they're #1 in something.

My guess:
20% of the bedrooms in Conroe work in Conroe

It's a Houston suburb that has grown from 25K people to probably three times that size in the last decade

Hey: Col
I'll be in Houston this summer - you available..?

I think CLT has been listed as #3. I don't care enough to research.

The city that gets me is Lehi, Ut. That is an anti-hipster city, unless you consider a city of returned LDS missionaries hipsters.

Sounds like Frisco Texas. Cookie cutter city that went from 20,000 to 120,000 in a decade. Contrived, stand alone downtown in the middle of nowhere.
