Outspoken conservative commentator Tomi Lahren admitted she still benefits from a feature of Obamacare while arguing against it during a debate with Chelsea Handler on Saturday.

Lahren and Handler faced off at Politicon, a non-partisan event, which features debates, panels, film, and comedy. As expected, Lahren and Handler's conversation turned towards the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare.

Lahren, who supports Trump, slammed Obamacare and told Handler that while she believes in her right to purchase healthcare, she doesn't "believe it's my right to pay for it for other people,"Fortune reported.

While Lahren continued to rail on Obamacare, she admitted that she is still on her parent's health insurance plan because of it.

"Do you have a healthcare plan or no?" Handler asked Lahren during the exchange, according to Fortune.

"Well luckily, I'm 24, so I am still on my parents'," Lahren said.

Nobody should be on Obamacare

Actually since it is mandated, I'd think that many people who are opposed to it will "benefit" from it

Not definitely. By your logic, any person for tax reform would be hypocritical because they use the current tax codes.

Ah, I love the smell of desperate right-wing hypocrisy in the morning.

Almost as much as I love the hyperventilation of left-wing drama queens in the afternoon.

So once again the liberal pieces of human garbage want it both ways. First they force people Into something (not me) illegal then criticize them for using what they were forced into.

People don't have a (legal) choice whether or not to use the current tax code. This girl has every right (but probably not the means) to walk the walk and go buy her own plan instead of leeching off of her parents. And she would have a lot more credibility with people who can look at this objectively if she did so.

This is a perfect example of how screwed up Obamacare is. We need young, healthy people to buy insurance. They won't use the insurance much so their premiums will offset the use by more expensive older people.

Wait, how about we let young people stay on their parents insurance until they are 26 even if they aren't in school and have entered the workforce instead of having them buy their own insurance like we want them to do.

You're not making a very good case here.

And BTW, I'm talking about taking legal tax breaks that are in the code. You can choose to not take them all and pay more than required.

I think it's more interesting that she probably has no idea that she's able to still be on her parents' plan because of Obamacare. She also has way more benefits than she would have without Obamacare. She just has no idea.

True, perhaps she would have gotten a great plan without ACA that included all of the essential benefits. But, a mid-20 year old is not likely to fork out the extra cash for plans including all of the extras.

That was my point. You were assuming too much IMO.

I get the faux outrage at her "hypocrisy" but it is faux.

It's not much of an assumption. Very little chance whatever she had without ACA would have all of the essential benefits.

And, she's never shopped for or bought insurance in her life. She's clueless about it. Especially what it was like before ACA.
