Is it possible??? I seriously doubt it...I'm still pretty connected with the military, but one never knows what is going on at certain levels...

But a writer I follow has just put out a two part article on Townhall (yes, conservative, but with both Trump supporters and NeverTrump folks) that presents a fictitious but plausible scenario...

The writer is a successful Los Angeles trial lawyer, a veteran with a masters in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College, and a former stand-up comic...covers lots of bases...

We are waaaay to soft, and people at the top have waaay too much to lose

Too many moving parts, too many chances for a leak to kill it in infancy

The military is like football...you can trace the lineage of the newer coaches back to an older, successful coach...

Same in the military...you can trace the lineage of a one-star back to a current or recently retired four-star...

Kelly has protégés all over...people who keep him in the loop...

Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan are setting the domestic agenda.

From what I know, just a handful of Marines and Navy personnel. They are 100% behind Trump. If this "coup"(would Obama pronounce the "p")were to occur it would be totally political based.

I'd side with the Military over the political BLM, SJW, crybabies any day, but they are all deployed overseas.

Lots of coups happened to incompetent leaders.

There is next to no chance of this happening to Trump, though. Coups in countries with legitimate democratic institutions is exceedingly rare. Instead of organizing a military coup... would be a lot easier to start backroom talks with big money donors to get Congress interested in impeachment. There's really no need for a coup in our system unless it completely breaks down. And, as wacky as things are - we're nowhere near that point.

I didn't read the articles but I don't think there's going to be a coup against Trump because I don't think it'd be seen as necessary. One thing I've been encouraged by so far is that my hope that our system would keep Trump from doing too much damage has been realized. Yes we'd be better off if somebody else...even Hillary...were President but it's not the end of the World short term.

What the military should do is eliminate anyone that is fucking with Trumps agenda.
