If by "calling it as you see it" you mean "nimble apologetics" then yes...

I love how its not a possibility that Trump is doing the right thing and ALL the senators and congressmen are wrong.

Amash is another one that while I don't agree with everything he says, has always had well-thought out positions, and a willingness to listen to concerns and go against his party when he feels it necessary.

The president announces (after making a completely bizarre speech) that the boy scouts called him the next day and told him it was the best speech ever...

To which the boy scouts announce "No we did not call the President"
and further more they went on to denounce the speech

Trump would literally lie about the time of day - it's a level of insanity that is beyond nutty
