We live in a world full of danger...I got blacks, jews and gays in my neighborhood, but I don't pack.....you're probably more likely to get struck by lightening on your walk than attacked by a wolf.....unless you're wearing prime rib on those walk...then I got nothing....

Well I will change my stance on this wolf thing than, since so many of you guys seem to love the furry fuckers. I will support more reintroductions of wolves. I will support letting the wolves become city dwellers like the coyotes are down south. I think it would be a great way to contain the loose dogs and deer population in the city. I also think it would be a great way to get rid of some of the pets and humans that are over populating this great nation. HERE HERE, save the wolves. SCREW everybody and thing else.
Woke up the other morning and had EIGHT coyotes on my front porch, staring in the window at my 3 cats. These fuckin' citified coyotes ain't afraid of NOBODY.

So you appease the tree-huggers by supporting the reintroduction of wolves and at the same time you thin out the herd (of tree-huggers) because they won't carry weapons to protect themselves from the very animal they want reintroduced? Brilliant!

I sure hope they start munching on people, especially some rich guys kids. That seems to be the only way to get this problem under control.
 jesus, where have all the rugged individualists gone......

not for nothin'... but... you live in Montana... wolves are part and parcel with the territory... just like they are here in MN... you learn to live with them. just like grizzly bears...

as for the deer and stray pets... yep. i wish we could get some wolves in to this part of MN and WI where the feral cat population is out of control.

Which is why Grizza is on a national kick to eradicate cattle, horses, mules, bees, fireants, dogs and deer.

Actually, this would probably benefit ranchers since dog packs kill more cattle than wolves.

Only dogs that have been hanging around wolves and have gone over to the dark side.

With all apologizes to Hoyt Axton...

"Well, now if I were the president of this land
You know, I'd declare total war on The wolf
I'd cut him if he stands, and I'd shoot him if he'd run
Yes I'd kill him with my Bible and my razor and my gun".

I was waiting for the master to state his position before I took mine :D

I agree. Protect the animals that are here but why in the world do we think it is ok to re-introduce predators where we live and work. :?

Good question....I bet the wolves are thinking the same things as we exapnd into their territory....I don't think they are talking about releasing them in downtown Missoula, but rather, in the backcountry where we should be considered guests....
