I think your level of outrage is higher than their desire to celebrate their heritage.

Born in Richmond but grew up in Fredericksburg. Glad my mom finally moved out of Federicksburg (to near Harrisonburg) close to 3 years ago..

There's a guy in Danville, VA who files a HUGE Confederate flag on the US 29 bypass. It has been up for at least 4-5 years.

I suspect it will be 50-60 years before anybody in that area raises a stink, if ever

Much broader issue. Doesn't matter if it's the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia, an ISIS flag, or the flag of the former Soviet Union. If it's on private property hands off.
