PBS has stopped distributing the Tavis Smiley show after serious sexual abuse allegations against the talk show host...
The investigation found credible allegations that Smiley had engaged in sexual relationships with multiple subordinates, sources said. Some witnesses interviewed expressed concern that their employment status was linked to the status of a sexual relationship with Smiley. In general, witnesses described Smiley as creating a verbally abusive and threatening environment that went beyond what could be expected in a typical high-pressure work environment. Several expressed concerns about retaliation.

Smiley is the second PBS show host hit with abuse accusations recently...Charlie Rose was dropped by the network two weeks ago...

Never heard of this guy, but some sanity needs to be restored. People are getting fired, etc. just on accusations, law of the land is innocent until proven guilty. A guy from Kentucky blew his head off today based on the accusations, his suicide note said he was innocent.

I believe the PBS dropped Smiley after their investigation found credible evidence of sexual harassment. If they are wrong, then the remedy would be for Smiley to sue the pants off his employer.

Not defending him, never heard of him till this. My contention is just a general statement that accusations are all that is needed, should be more to it than that.

Don’t care about him, just saying as a general rule for all of these type of cases. Somewhere along the line, someone innocent is going to get burned.
