hey hey hey
goodbye...
the MNGOP and NRSC really are showing that they are all about stopping the seating of a new Senator for purely partisan purposes... it's over... but still they obstruct on...
to clarify... I DESPISE Franken... despite my partisanship and occupation... I hate all celebrity candidates... and Stuart Smalley is no exception... I couldn't bring myself to vote for him (even with my rule... you don't vote for individuals, you vote for majorities)... but still it's time to be a man and end this farce.

That's my instinctive reaction, too. Otoh, show me a celebrity candidate that can't do a better job than a seasoned pro with years of experience as, say, governor of Texas....

Who would you rather have as the governor of your state:
1) W
2) Arnold

w was basically a celebrity candidate when he ran for gov... son of a president and owner of a baseball team...
but that speaks to my other pet peeve... i really HATE legacies... the Kennedy's, the Bush's, the Humphrey's, just as bad...
