Sure Glad the Coastal Elites Aren't in Power

There's a couple of unnecessary lines in the article, but the point is pretty damned funny considering the pride in Trump coming from middle America.
The part about Mnuchin's wife cracked me up too.
I'm gonna go watch Trading Places....
IN A CULTURE of sound bites and memes, one conservative trope that has strangely stuck to liberals and Democrats is that of “coastal elites.” It’s a phrase frequently used by talking heads and Twitter bots alike to describe wealthy, aloof snobs who live on America’s East and West coasts — far away, in spirit and distance, from the real, land-locked people of middle America. The Notion came up recently in the debate over the Republican tax bill: Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, seemed positively giddy to announce taxes would only go up for “rich people in Manhattan and San Francisco.”
Except the idea that right hates coastal elites is a farce. President Donald Trump and his ruling clique — his family, advisers (and family-advisers), staff (and family-staff), and cabinet — are themselves the exaggerated, cartoonish personification of the coastal elite. The Republican government, in other words, is being led by the very same folks the right wing has been warning its followers about for years.

Coastal Elites is not a birth-right...it’s a thought process...
Trump may be rich, but his thought process is more aligned with the fly-overs than those he was born around...
I’m a born and raised coastal...Massachusetts...but learned about the elites and their snobbery...
Lots of people born in fly-overs can’t wait to get out, and move to the coasts...and become coastal elites...
Then there are folks like me who were born and raised on the coast, and learn that there is a better way that doesn’t look down on common folks...
And this story, coming from a fake racial warrior...

FTR, I'm more in tune with the flyovers as well. Elitism is ugly regardless of ideology.

And as I found (more accurately reminded of) in a recent trip back home, elitism is not an economic factor...

Don't throw in the southeastern coast in with the left coast and the yankee northeast coast.

Please do not confuse the real Donald Trump with the Say anything to get elected Donald Trump
We've got 30 years of evidence stacked on top of evidence that Donald Trump only thinks about himself
I'll site 100 examples if you have somehow already forgotten who he is...
Shame on anybody who has casually forgotten the cunt that he has been his entire life
However:
None of that means he won't be a good president
It just means - he's been a blow hard twat for 30 years
He's NOT for "The people" any more than Hilary is for the people
Remember:
4 years ago Hilary and Trump were great friends

His thought process is more aligned with looting what he can while he has the gig.

Trump was born into wealth but he rejected and was rejected by the elites. He's a crass oaf who is far too prone to saying whatever comes into his mind rather than holding it in and then saying it behind peoples' backs to fit in with the coastal elites. He appeals to but doesn't truly fit in with the flyovers either. He's really a combination of a snake oil salesmen trying to separate anyone he can from their money and a town drunk clamoring for any kind of attention he can get.

What's the Planting Class?
I'm guessing they're no match for the loggers and hippie driftwood artists of Forks, WA.

I believe he meant the Planter Class
