Trump says some immigrants from 'shithole countries' as he rejects bipartisan deal

President Donald Trump, using vulgar terms, rejected a pitch Thursday from a bipartisan team of senators on a compromise immigration deal to protect DACA participants while increasing border security.
"Why do we want all these people from 'shithole countries' coming here?" Trump told senators in the Oval Office, a source briefed on the meeting told CNN.

I don't think we're going to see CNN back off on this. Yes, the story will die down at some point. But I expect to see CNN making a big deal about this for a few days at least just like they do every time he says something stupid.

I disagree with Trump. I say we take the smartest folks in sub-Saharan Africa and trade them for black lives matter. That means we get skilled immigrants and BLM doesn't have to suffer another day of systemic racism in Amerikkka. Win-win.

(remember Jelly trying to lecture me about El Sal, abortion, and catholicism?)

It is a lovely place. With lovely people. And existing there, though more difficult than in the US, is easily do-able

Heck, we're even creating jobs there - Boeing has a big refurbishment program going on at the airport... The North Face has some sweatshops there.... its grrreat!

I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

But we must extend TPS! Lives depend on it! No really! El Salvador is a horrible place! Dare I say it? A shithole!

They wouldn't last a week over there. I worked with some Saudi's (I know, ME not Africa but they were on the project) and Ethiopians about 8 years ago. We were at a happy hour at the end of the week and they went off on this black dude - talking about shitty American blacks are and how they are an embarrassment to the race. They went into the whole, "slave and plantation mentality" bit and shut that guy down.
