With the reading of their own version of a Declaration of Independence, founders of the state of New California took the first steps to what they hope will eventually lead to statehood. CBS Sacramento reports they don't want to leave the United States, just California.

The rest of the liberal states in the US will never let California leave or they are fucked.

The New California in the article is basically the Delmarva of the west coast. Pretty funny to see the parallel.

It's so bad I heard people are leaving there in droves and the population is plummeting. And there are practically zero rich people or businesses left.

It's tragic.

3 round magazines that can't be quickly changed either, due to bullet buttons.

The only people with guns in "old' California hold them sideways and would miss their target until they ran out of bullets.

The Compton Volunteers wouldn't survive the first skirmish.

They wouldn't be in the skirmish... they'd be too busy looting.

Red Dawn Wolverines vs The Friday After Next

We all know how that would turn out.

First of all, it seems like conservatives think liberals don't own guns or practice using them. I live in a solid liberal area and I'd say about half of the people I know (including myself) own a firearm.

And pretending that a civil war in California happened in a bubble, you really think the rural areas would successfully secede with a massive population deficit and little industrial hegemony?

Of course if an armed secession happened in Cali, we'll have a much larger national issue on our hand. You'll have states coming to the aid of California and others that may aid "New" California.

That said, I'm ok with splitting states if that's the will of those people. Peacefully.

So a bunch of redneck racists are tired of living with colored folks, and the little snowflakes are throwing a fit.

Good luck with New Mississippi.

PS - San Diego, Orange, etc don't like you either.
