Hate on what - fiscal responsibility? Please - take your lips off of Trumps ass for a few minutes and think objectively. What purpose would a military parade have OTHER than stroke his ego. What is it to commemorate? The last parade was in 1991 following the Gulf War. Before that it was the for Eisenhower and JFKs inauguration. Before that it was during and after WW2.

So what's the point - other than he was impressed with France. Are we celebrating nearly 20 years at war with radical Islam?

It's in the guise of the 100 year anniversary of WWI's end (November 11, 1918). There isn't even a WWI veteran left in the world, let alone the United States.

That said I went to the Military parade after Desert Storm in DC, and it was awesome! I still have my desert camo Coke can at home. Nothing is more awe inspiring than the Stealth Bomber flying over head. It have done fly overs at Preakness several times. Your hear it and it's already past you, and then it just slips away into the distance.
