Like I have said before the number of people in the USA that get shot is so fucking low its not even worth talking about. Saving 500 out of 320 million people is not even worth the time or bandwidth I used to type this

The website/author/editor doesn't know that Charleston is in South Carolina and not North Carolina. What other facts are wrong?

I wouldn't worry about that. I'd focus on the linked study.

CNN know that America isnt in the top 10 that is why they manufacture news to fit their narrative.
