I think Thom Hartmann was the first to uncover this history and now The Atlantic does a solid follow up.

Corporations as people is a legal fiction. Always has been. Why would the lead attorney, CONKling be so deceitful? The answer might be in the name...

Huh? :suspicious: If I'm any different on AGS it's simply an adjustment to the level of right wing retardedness over there which is quite impressive.

I've been winning this argument for years here. This is just more proof.

For all the message boards I read, this one is consistently the best in being the most center. With every other, either the far-right or far-left completely took over and turned it into echo chambers.

I think it's 'cause everyone here is borderline jaded about everything.

Agreed. Skepticism is healthy.

I'm not one of those who thinks that nobody's mind can be changed arguing on social media. I've had my mind changed a number of times here and on Facebook. Then again...I'm open minded. I'm a liberal.

So if you form an opinion while underinformed, and then change your mind after being better informed, this is considered being open minded and/or liberal?

You're overthinking this. The world isn't black and white. There are many different reasons for changing your mind on something including a lack of information. Willingness to consider and/or accept differing points of view is open mindededness regarldess.

You should try it sometime.

To a degree. Too much open mindedness isn't the best either. :D

Especially in a leadership position. In that case I'm pro-authoritarian.

What?

Liberals are open minded and like freedom. I like freedom and I even sometimes consider what you have to say.

I just can't believe you've already given up your charade that nobody believed anyway. Just 14 months into Trump's incredible tenure in office.

What charade?

I’m a post partisan liberal (as defined) who voted for Johnson the last two elections and hasn’t voted for a candidate from either major party for national office in quite some time. I’m socially libertarian and find myself warming to fiscal libertarianism with each passing year.

I am America, stripped of political tribalism...

You’re obviously confused. :coffee:

The retardedness on AGS is amplified 6.93x.
