Georgia is busily working on that very question as we speak. Stay tumed. :coffee:
Really? That's what you come back with? Georgia is not allowing certain groups to participate in democracy? Are they doing that by mandating the use of early voting drop boxes? Are they stopping people from voting by ensuring weekend voting and even voting on Sundays? What will Georgia do next to stop people from voting - mandate that people already in line when the voting period ends are still allowed to vote? The outrage.
Elder abuse.

I didn’t know “equity” was such a triggering term!

Nah, it's not the term that's triggering, it's the intentional ignorance of what that term actually means and how we go about achieving that term that's triggering. But I think you already know that, but acknowledging that doesn't lend itself to snarky retorts. Pity.
It wasn’t intentional. I’m a golf pro, our rules are built around equity. Equitable stroke control, protect the field, etc.

If I misused it, I apologize. It obviously means something different to me. In this context, equal access to political leaders.

Is they a bad thing?

And yes...you are clearly triggered.

We may disagree on quite a few things(possibly many) but I still would happily go kayak fishing down a river with you.

That's equity. Why should you have a better score just because you're a better golfer? Why should someone who works hard, takes risks and is in the right place at the right time have more money than someone who doesn't?

Not sure if trolling but I was talking about equity when it comes to political access not wealth or income. There’s always going to be greater access with wealth but we can do better. The current system is built on corruption.

If you and I have a friendly match I’m playing as a scratch against your net score. We might even negotiate the spread but your USGA HDCP would probably suffice since we wouldn’t be playing for fingers and toes. If it’s an actual competition we wouldn’t even be in the same flight and probably playing from different tees. Life isn’t flighted...and the world (and my industry) needs ditch diggers too.... but I digress.

I'm using golf as an analogy to snarkily support Ganny's point about equity ...

WTF does that first sentence mean? In what world does everyone have equal talent?

If we don’t have equity of outcome for two individuals born and raised in the same household, with the same parents, the same values, and the same opportunities, how do they propose to legislate equity of outcome for entire disaffected groups?

Agreed, I've seen that one too and have chuckled at it. There is no doubt that there is a wide gap of talent in this world. If you can't see that then you're just not looking.
