Kavanaugh was nominated to the DC Circuit by Bush in 2003. Donks held up his confirmation for 3 years. Was confirmed in 2006 57-36.
Republicans votes 53 Yea, 0 Nay, 2 not voting. Collins & Murkowski were both Yea.
Democrats voted 4 Yea, 36 Nay, 5 not voting.

The donks who voted to confirm Kavanaugh in 2006:
-Robert KKK Byrd
-Tom Carper, DE
-Mary Landrieu, LA
-Ben Nelson, NE

Carper is the only donk who voted to confirm in 2006 who is still in the Senate.

I was hoping Trump would have went with the most conservative of the bunch, not because I agree with that ideology, but because that would have ensured the most entertaining leftist meltdown...oh well, there will always be that chance when RBG kicks the bucket.

I talked to my blue dog Democrat father in law last weekend about if he know Brett Kavanaugh. They both have been practicing in the DMV for awhile. He said he was a very honest judge. Catholic, CYO coach, etc. all in common. He also mentioned that he didn’t think he had a shot due to the Bush relationship so didn’t think it would be Trumps choice. Can’t wait to speak with him after he gets his talking points about how horrible he is. Lol
