From what I am reading, it sounds like Lindsay Graham to replace Jeff Sessions as AG after mid-terms and then Haley gets appointed Senator by SC Governor to replace Graham.

Graham has said he has no interest to join the cabinet.

What are you reading!

Graham isn't leaving the Senate voluntarily. The dude has been on a roll since McCain kicked the bucket.

Yeah I’d be surprised if he’d leave the Senate

Haley needs to stay right where she is - she’s doing a pretty good job

(running your mouth and making the occasional sick burnz on Russians and Iranians is all that entails)

I agree.

ANd I think Haley has a lot of bi-partisan support. She's a good one.

Hate to see her leave. She was excellent, my guess she is taking some time to rest and regroup to go after something bigger.

Can't wait to vote for Nikki Haley for president and have the Conks put the first woman in the Oval Office.

Same here. She’s not perfect (and has been terrible to CCU during her time the state House) but I think she’d be a good POTUS.

Yeah it's a shame. Five years ago I'd have enthusiastically voted for her to be President. Now she's defiled by her association with Trump. Can no longer have any credibility because she's shown she, like so many other Republicans, are willing to throw principle to the wind by supporting that atrocity.

Could be. Depends on who the Democrats come up with. But he is not a strong candidate. Again: He won with a lower percentage of the vote than Romney got. The majority of the country does not like him. The majority of the country does not want him as President. I think the majority of the country is embarrassed by the fact that he is President right now. It's been a while as far as I can tell since there has been a poll on that but one reported in January, 2018, is described at https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-q ... val-791028
Only 27 percent of American voters say they are proud to have Donald Trump as president, while 53 percent say they are embarrassed
I suppose things could've changed some since then. But I don't think by that much. The guy IS an embarrassment.

As I've said before I think if he'd have had to run against Obama he'd have been crushed. And if the Democrats can find a decent candidate he's going to get crushed in 2020.

But I'll admit I don't know if the Democrats can find a decent candidate. You never know. At this point of the George H.W. Bush Administration it didn't look like there was any chance the Democrats could find somebody. And they came up with Bill Clinton who turned out to be a very good politician.

And BTW George H. W. Bush is an honorable man. Trump is not.

So you have no problem with a sexual predator in the White House, just not a liar.

Ruh roh:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 38% who Strongly Approve of the president is performing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -1. (see trends).

The president’s approval rating has held steady at 51% since the end of last week, his highest level of approval since early March of last year, shortly after he first took office.

See, this just proves you can’t think rationally. There are many honorable people in the administration.

I was having dinner with friends on Sunday evening and were talking about politics. We all came to the same conclusion, that while we dislike Trump? We recognize that people like Haley, Mattis and Kelly are there for reasons other than MAGA. They are the adults in the room.

Her association with Trump will be toxic. And by 2024 she will look like an old hag....Republicans only vote for cute young blondes.
